Next week May 30th through June 1st, the inaugural Healthcare IT Expo (HITExpo) takes place in New Orleans, Louisiana. Billed as a community of smart, forward-thinking, and hard-working healthcare IT professionals coming together to share, collaborate, and support each other, the event focuses on five main themes:

Speakers and Sessions

To effect this uncommon goal of sharing actionable information, the HITExpo event features over 60 speakers sharing information, insight and actionable ideas in 40+ sessions spread across three separate tracks over three days. Keynote speakers include Patient Activist Amanda Greene and Dr. Rasu Shrestha, Chief Innovation Officer at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Paul M Black, CEO of leading EHR vendor Allscripts will participate in a fireside chat following Dr. Shrestha’s keynote on Friday, June 1^st.
